Rajiv Vora (D Lit Honoris Causa) withdrew from public debate, writing and speaking in 2002 to conduct experiment in nonviolence among radicalized youth in hard violent Naxalite insurgency area of tribal Bihar and in Jammu & Kashmir putting his own life to peril several times. Converted Naxalite Area Commanders with their large dedicated following, important radical youth leaders in Kashmir to nonviolence, created a strong constituency of nonviolence by using contemporaneous meaning of Gandhi’s Hind Swaraj.
